Your child's portfolio

If your child is blogging with Kidblog, they have a been creating a portfolio of work. The portfolio is a collection of all posts published by your child, class-to-class, year-over-year.

You, as the parent or guardian, can ask your child to invite you to view their portfolio. Your child will do this by clicking on the "Invite parent" button on their Kidblog dashboard and then entering your email address.

You will receive an email prompting you to setup a Kidblog account, giving you access to your child's portfolio.

Important items to note:

  • Students are not able to publish within their portfolio. To add new content, they will need to be a member of an active Kidblog class.
  • You will not be able to use the comment feature nor see other posts in your child's class. To leave comments and to see other student posts (that are published for viewing by guests), ask your child's teacher to grant you Guest access to their Kidblog class.

Here is a short video to show you around Kidblog digital portfolio.
